Each issue of Policy and Society is typically devoted to a single policy theme. The theme may be specific to a particular social science discipline or, preferably, cut across disciplines. Similarly, the themes may be country-specific or comparative in scope. Issues normally consist of a short introduction (approximately 2 – 3,000 words) and 5-7 articles (approximately 6,000 - 8,000 words). Each issue is normally overseen by a special guest editor.
